Analyze

A feed mill from SKIOLD is a complete solution were we start by converting your requirements and needs into a project specification. The first step to ensure a successful SKIOLD solution is an analysis focusing on the customer’s needs and future goals. We ensure an optimal SKIOLD solution through a deep dialogue about requirements and needs concerning the feed mill. Any future operational objectives are to be considered as well. SKIOLD delivers a total solution with analysis, design and installation to help you all the way from idea to delivery of the finished project.

Design

We give you an overview of your options that we create according to your wishes and needs. Our skilled project department will guide you step by step to achieve the results that match your requirements. The result is a tailor-made, future-proof solution adjusted to the specific conditions, which reduces operating costs, optimizes quality, and gives you a competitive advantage. We aim to deliver a solution that develops our customer’s business, and we use both in-house and external experts to secure the best solution.

Vizualize

SKIOLD's highly qualified employees elaborate detailed 3D drawings, among others in Autocad, to visualize positioning of the equipment and set-up of the complete plant, and the involved parties get full and comprehensive drawing material for buildings, foundations, installation, cabling, etc. 

This step includes the presentation of our proposed solution, including a dialogue about implementation of the project. At this stage, we also discuss financial and contractual issues. Once you have approved the suggested solution, we present the final project layout, technical 3D drawings, dimensioning, tailored electrical documentation, technical flow diagram, etc. It is also at this stage that the actual physical manufacturing of the equipment takes place.

Specify

Technical flow diagrams and electrical documentation are made in such a way that it is possible to add or upgrade components in the plant. Manuals for installation, operation, and maintenance are included with the scope of supply. All necessary shipping documents and certificates are prepared according to the individual requirements of different countries.

Implement

Our team of experienced supervisors manages the installation process. They ensure that the time schedule is on track and that all project specifications are followed. We have a take-over procedure to ensure that performance has been proven and plant operator have been trained before final hand-over.

Start-up of the feed mill, training of the operational staff, and final commissioning of the ready feed mill. Manuals for installation, operation and maintenance of the feed mill and the control system are of course included with the delivery of a SKIOLD plant.

After putting into operation of the feed mill, the commercial feed production begins. From this moment, we offer service and maintenance carried out by our skilled staff, either on site or online via the internet. Changes in the production or in the market situation may change the requirements to the feed mill. The flexible design of SKIOLD feed mills allows for easy and unproblematic extension to increase e.g. capacity or degree of automation.
